Started working on this beautiful quilt.
Hoping for a grand daughter, some day to give it to.
Now that the applique is completed, hoping to make
all the nine patches from scraps/stash.
Each day, I'm trying to complete a row.
I look at the picture in the book,
and try to match my scraps as closely with what Editya did.
As I was squaring up my nine patches this morning,
I was remembering being a new quilter, not realizing the importance of squaring up blocks before putting them all together.
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever made!
I'm not a professional (obviously)
Lots of shadows, but it is still so pretty!
Didn't even make a dent in my batik scraps!
