My scrappy 4 patch

Back in November, I posted this pic and few of my
2.5" square four patches I've been making as a leader ender.
Today, I just flat out worked on this project!
I have so many 4 patches and 2.5 in solid blocks cut out...
It's time to see how this is gonna look :)

This past Fall, I went through all of my scraps and cut 1.5" strips.
Paired a light with a dark and kept it within reach of my sewing machine while working on other projects.
These strips get pressed towards the light.

These all get cut in 1.5" sections

Like I learned from a Bonnie Hunter Mystery,
They are put together with the light color on top,
so I can spin the seam when pressing.

For months now, I've had a little stack of these by machine
as leader enders.

I started making 4 patches,
but soon realized that 9 patches of
my 4 patches and 2.5" squares would work better when putting a quilt together.
Did I mention I spilt my box of 4 patches the other day...lots to pick up.  This will make the whole thing more manageable.
I still have a long way to go.

Here's a little sneak peak.  Made me so happy!
(Since posted, fixed the bottom right block...always good to take picutres!)

Ready for tomorrow!

I still have a long way to go!
Gonna try to commit to completing 10 blocks each week.
