Edge to Edge Quilting in the Hoop

 I just became the new owner of a Topaz 50 by Husqvarna.  (I own a Verve, by Baby Lock, but it only has a 4" hoop.)   

Today I completed my first project.  

              This design is Bubbles End to End by Designs by JuJu.

I found this video tutorial very helpful.  In it she showed how to make a template to use to align the design with each hooping.  She talked about advancing design when it goes off the item you are quilting, until the design comes back on your work.  It made the whole process fun and easy!

                         I did 4 hoopings to complete this project.                                                      The template worked perfect!

Very pleased with the final outcome, and looking forward to trying other designs on more projects
